MY STORY
What started as a joke turned into a reality. In the beginning of 2019 I was inspired to run my first marathon. I didn't have any running experience and I couldn't run a mile.
I started out by following a training plan that had me running 5+ times per week, but unfortunately I injured both of my knees. Out of fear and desperation I threw out my training plan.
After having a conversation with my dad, I created my own training plan. A marathon training plan that consisted of 3 days of running and 3 days of strength training.
Within weeks I felt strong and confident. I was able to run faster and farther than ever before. Fast forward a few months, I finished my first marathon in 3 hours and 53 minutes. It was the first time I felt I could do whatever I put my mind too.
